about Jeff was born into a military family and primarily raised in the Aloha State of Hawaii. Military families move a lot so Jeff, after moving from base to base, graduated from Channel Islands High School in Oxnard, California. After graduation, Jeff joined the United States Navy where he accumulated over 6500 flight hours as a Naval Aircrewman (Electronic Warfare Operator) on the P3-C Orion with his last assignment with Patrol Squadron Forty-Seven stationed in Kaneohe, Hawaii. Jeff retired from the Navy upon completion of 20 years honorable service.

After retirement Jeff moved to Texas and attended the University of Houston Downtown and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. Jeff attended law school at the University of Houston Law Center.



After law school and admittance to the Texas Bar, Jeff returned to Hawaii and worked for the Naval Judge Advocate General as a Legal Assistance Attorney, Pearl Harbor, where he was admitted to the Hawaii Bar and was also admitted to practice in the United States Armed Forces Court of Criminal Appeals.

Jeff moved back to Texas and worked for the Fort Bend County District Attorney's Office as an Assistant District Attorney. At the District Attorney's Office, Jeff was assigned to the Misdemeanor division where he handled thousands of cases and tried a variety of charges.

After leaving the District Attorney's Office in 2008, Jeff went on to form the law firm Zuniga, Carter, Morales, McCalla P.C. As a Partner with the firm, Jeff successfully defended hundreds of clients.

In 2011, Jeff formed his own private practice. He continues to zealously defend the rights of his clients and has received hundreds of favorable verdicts for them.

Jeff was formerly on the Board of Directors of the Fort Bend County Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, is a member of the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, and is active in the community participating in multiple philanthropic events and organizations.
